Course Description

This IT online training course focuses on skills necessary to architect well-performing SQL Data Warehouse databases in SQL Server. It covers the principles and the practical tools necessary to understand and create all of the objects you would need to have a complete database. This includes a discussion of Table structures, data integrity, and indexes. As well as basic programming, file storage, analytics queries, and full-text searching. One of the primary benefits of commercial-grade databases is the availability of indexes to speed lookups.

You will gain an in-depth understanding of the benefits and the requirements for generating useful indexes in both OLTP (transactional) and OLAP (reporting) databases. Another major benefit of business-focused RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems) is the use of enforced relationships and constraints.

This online training will cover all the standard techniques to maintain consistent quality data in your database using referential integrity and various types of automatic data validations. One way of increasing both security and performance in a database is using stored procedures, functions, and triggers. You will learn what each of these objects is and how to write the T-SQL code to generate them.

Within this training program we will also cover the use of SQL Management Studio to perform these various operations using visual tools where possible. At the end of the course, you should be able to create a highly functional business database.

In this online IT course you will learn

  • Database Administration and database applications
  • Table structures and managing them
  • Data types
  • Schemas
  • and so much more

  1. I was looking for an online course for Six Sigma as my new boss is a true believer and I wanted to have a better handle of what is Six Sigma. I started looking around and found ITU, and bought the course, and could not be happier. I have no intention of getting certified, but at least now I can speak the jargon and understand what my boss is talking about.

  2. The educators at ituonline.com are highly skilled but could improve their methods of instruction. In the CCNA 200-301 course, there’s a heavy emphasis on oral lectures, and it would be beneficial to include more in-depth visual aids. Annotating labs and graphics could also make the educational journey more effective. On the other hand, the N10-008 course instructor consistently offers top-notch material.

  3. The CompTIA PenTest was an excellent course and the instructor, Chrys, explained the material in a clear and easy way for me to understand and comprehend essential techniques. Highly recommend!
