A Quick Response Code, or QR Code, is a type of matrix barcode that encodes information in a visual format, allowing it to be quickly scanned and interpreted by a device such as a smartphone or barcode reader. It is commonly used to link users directly to digital content or perform specific actions, such as making payments or retrieving information.

How It Works

QR Codes consist of black squares arranged on a square grid with a white background, which encode data in a two-dimensional pattern. When a QR Code is scanned using a camera-equipped device, the scanner's software detects the pattern, decodes the binary data, and translates it into usable information. The QR Code includes position markers and alignment patterns that help the scanner correctly interpret the data regardless of the angle or distortion.
