A performance counter is a tool or feature in computing systems that measures and monitors various aspects of system performance, such as CPU usage, memory consumption, disk activity, and network traffic. These counters provide real-time data that help administrators and IT professionals assess how well a system is functioning and identify potential bottlenecks or issues.

How It Works

Performance counters operate by collecting data from specific system components at regular intervals.
